Bed Building Event - Sleep in Heavenly Peace

Please join us to build beds for kids in our community who are without a bed. We will cut, sand, assemble and finish bed components. No experience is necessary and we have jobs for anyone from elementary school aged to retirees. We will supply all the tools and protective gear (masks, gloves, ear plugs and safety glasses). Water will be available and every volunteer receives a free meal card from Chick-fil-A in Burnsville.

We'll be building 160+ beds for area children 3-17 years old who have no bed of their own. These beds will later be delivered into the children's homes, enabling them to wake up refreshed after a good night's sleep instead of exhausted and cranky. These beds make a huge difference in the lives of the children who receive them, creating an opportunity for a much brighter future!

It's hard work and great fun! Enjoy a tremendous sense of accomplishment and fulfilment helping turn stacks of lumber into completed bed components.
