Kickoff Committee Meeting
Are you interested in being more involved with the DCR Chamber? We are currently looking for committee members for this year's womEn's circle committee. This provides a wonderful opportunity to get involved with the chamber and put together a great year of womEn's circle programming. This year's chair of the committee is Michele Engdahl, Thomson Reuters.
Parts of the committee include membership and marketing, programming, logistics, sponsorships, and social media. This a great way to get involved with an enthusiastic and driven group of women, who will be planning all 10 programs for the 15-16 month;y womEn's circle.
This kickoff committee meeting will be held at the Dakota County Regional Chamber Office (3352 Sherman Court, Suite 201, Eagan MN 55121) on August 24th from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Anyone interested in becoming a member of the committee or just wants to learn more about this committee are encouraged to attend.
By volunteering for the DCR Chamber, you will be given the opportunity to practice important skills used in the workplace, such as teamwork, problem solving, and project planning. In addition, you will also learn more about the non-profit business world. Through working with other Chamber volunteers, you will be able to network with business people of the Dakota County community that you would not have met otherwise.
