The womEn's circle: Confident Networking

The womEn's circle will be held on Thursday, April 16th, 2015 from 7:45 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. (Check in starts at 7:45 a.m., program will start promptly at 8:00 a.m.) at Valleywood Golf Course in Apple Valley. This ongoing monthly series requires membership credentials within womEn's circle and is designed for women to develop leadership skills, build business connections, gain professional and personal skills and be energized, educated and empowered. Tips to be Confident and Effective in Your Networking

April's speaker will be speaker and networking expert Teresa Thomas.Teresa shares her passion for creating energizing connections through networking events, facilitated workshops, speaking and writing.
 
In 2007, Teresa took on the leadership of MN Women In Networking (WIN) to provide welcoming networking and professional development events for authentic, motivated women in business to lift each other up for success. 
 
While Teresa has been a professional connector for over 18 years, she is shy at heart. She enjoys sharing the out-of-the-box insights she has learned throughout her life to help others to effectively network with confidence. Many of these tips are included in her recently released networking guidebook, "How to Tap into the Power of Win/Win Connections."
 
Teresa believes networking is really about seeing the interconnectedness between all of us. It is about listening and noticing the ways we can lift each other up. 

A Sneak Preview:
Networking is the primary path to gaining opportunities, learning and support to get where we want to go. However, the very idea of networking can feel nerve-wracking — or worse yet — slimy! Learn how to tap into the power of authentic and confident networking. 
 
In this interactive session, Teresa will answer the most pressing questions she receives about mastering the ABC's of networking. You'll walk away being more confident and effective and ready to maximize your relationships through win/win connections.

About the series:
Each womEn’s circle will be on the third Thursday of each month except November. There will be five morning meetings and three lunch meetings.  Each meeting will have time for networking and a speaker presentation that will be on a professional topic.
The annual associate fee is $150.00 which includes all eight meetings.  In addition there will be two optional social events to be held after hours, that will be an additional fee. You may attend as a guest one time for a fee of $25. Please email Chelsea Johnson to attend as a guest or to submit your application for womEn's circle Membership.
