The womEn's circle: Communicating in Today's Business World
The womEn's circle luncheon will be held on Thursday, February 19th, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m at Mendakota Country Club. This ongoing monthly series requires membership credentials within womEn's circle and is designed for women to develop leadership skills, build business connections, gain professional and personal skills and be energized, educated and empowered. About the speaker:
Public relations executive Jennifer Hellman will share her story about working and advancing in the public relations industry, and offer her top tips for communicating effectively in today’s business world. Jennifer is the chief operating officer of Goff Public, one of Minnesota’s preeminent public relations and public affairs firm, based in Saint Paul and founded in 1966. Last year, her firm published the book, “The Ann E. Answers Guide to Communications Etiquette in the Digital Age.”
Jennifer Hellman is known by clients for her strategic and effective approach to public relations and public affairs. She is an expert and trusted advisor in the areas of reputation management, crisis consulting and preparedness, media relations, and spokesperson training. She has 17 years of experience serving diverse clients, from large corporations to nonprofits to tribal governments.
About the series:
Each WomEn’s Circle will be on the third Thursday of each month except November. There will be five morning meetings and three lunch meetings. Each meeting will have time for networking and a speaker presentation that will be on a professional topic.
The annual associate fee is $150.00 which includes all eight meetings. In addition there will be two optional social events to be held after hours, that will be an additional fee.
