The Buzz/WSP MH Business Council - Visit to Neighbors Inc.
Please join us for March's Buzz - WSP/MH Business Council where we will be visiting Neighbors, Inc.
Focus Discussion: Minnesota FoodShare Month
March is Minnesota FoodShare month. It is a collaborative effort to restock the state’s 260 food shelves. It recruits thousands of congregations, businesses, civic groups, and schools to run local cash and food drives to aid in the effort. By participating in Minnesota FoodShare, local food shelves like Neighbors receive additional monetary subsidies that they can use to purchase food (on top of the current donations). More donations collected equals more money Neighbors receives through MN FoodShare, and the more we can help out Northern Dakota County!
Please bring either cash donations or non-perishable items to this meeting. Additionally, there will also be information on how to conduct a food drive for your organization.
When you arrive at Neighbors, please park in the lower level parking lot and come in the lower level door. Then go straight back, through the warehouse to the carpeted hall way, and turn left. Our meeting room adjoins the break room.
Thank you to our host!
