Join us at the Buck Hill Event Center for the South of the River Small Business Expo and Business After Hours. This is a great opportunity to network with other chamber members from Dakota County. There will be over 50 exhibitors from the 7 Chambers throughout Dakota County and typically draws around 400 attendees. This event is free to attend and includes complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

“Accessing Minnesota’s Support for Angel Investments and Entrepreneurs”

Since the Angel Tax Credit program’s inception in 2010, over 300 Minnesota businesses have received over $165 million in investment.  These are businesses that are focused on high technology or new proprietary technology, have fewer than 25 employees, are less than 10 years old, and have not previously raised more than $4 million private equity. To help those businesses, the Angel Tax Credit program provides a 25% individual income tax credit for qualified investors or funds who make investments in these qualified businesses.   Learn how to become certified as a business or as an investor.   DEED’s business finance director can also answer questions about other sources of state business financial assistance.
