South Metro Young Professionals: Professional Development - Generations@Work

The South Metro Young Professionals invite you to join them for February's Professional Development event: Generations@Work on Wednesday, February 26th from 7:30am - 9:00am at Argosy University (1515 Central Parkway, Eagan).

Generations@Work
A core challenge over the next decade will be to attract and retain a skilled workforce. This situation is exacerbated as companies find themselves managing four generations–each with their own distinct values and attitudes toward work. To successfully integrate these generations into the workplace, companies will need to embrace radical changes in recruitment, benefits, and culture.
 
In this upcoming presentation Sarah Sladek of XYZ University will present information on how to foster a culture of collaboration, acceptance, and productivity, including how to build productive multi-generational teams, evaluate how generation-friendly your work environment is, and implement successful management techniques for each generation.

Not a member of the SMYPros yet, but interested in attending?  You may attend one SMYPros event as a guest for $25 per person.

Are you between the ages of 20 and 40? Are you looking for new ways to enhance your skills by developing professional knowledge, engaging in business and community events and networking with similar-aged professionals? Then the South Metro Young Professionals is the perfect group for you!  The SMYPros offers 10 professional development, community engagement or networking events per year. 
 
Annual participation in this group is $150 which includes all activities and events (a few special activities may be subject to additional charges).  You may attend one event as  guest for $25.  If you choose to join after attending as a guest, the $25 will be credited towards your membership. 
 
Your business must be a member of either the Burnsville or Dakota County Regional Chambers of Commerce to participate in this group.
