Member Event: Walk to End Hunger
We sometimes hear that poverty isn’t a problem in the suburbs, but at Neighbors we know differently. More than half the school kids in South St. Paul and West St. Paul qualify for free and reduced lunch. In addition, many in the areas that we serve don’t have access to a car and live more than a half mile from a grocery store, which makes getting affordable, nutritious food difficult. For more than 40 years, Neighbors has been serving northern Dakota County, providing food and services to those in need. We couldn’t do it without YOU! Will you support your neighbors in need at the Walk to End Hunger by: - Starting a team with your family and friends - Joining the Neighbors, Inc. team - Donating to a team or individual The Walk to End Hunger is an annual family-friendly 5K walk at the Mall of America on Thanksgiving morning. Funds raised from the event benefit local hunger relief agencies. Thank you for helping us reduce poverty, promote self-sufficiency and build community!
