Legislative Breakfast Series- Minnesota: Shaping the Future
March’s Legislative Breakfast features "Minnesota: Shaping the Future through Knowledge and Engagement" on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Commons on Marice, 1380 Marice Drive in Eagan. Senator Norm Coleman will discuss some of the major issues facing the business community by digging deeper into how decisions are made at the state and federal level as well as encouraging engagement by all - across all parties - in order to make a difference in our communities and region.
About Senator Coleman
Senator Coleman joined Hogan Lovells after dedicating more than three decades to public service. He was a student activist in the 1960s, Minnesota's chief prosecutor and Solicitor General in the 1970s and 1980s, and Mayor of St. Paul in the 1990s. He represented Minnesota in the U.S. Senate from 2003-2009. As a senior governmental advisor at Hogan Lovells, Senator Coleman counsels clients on a wide range of regulatory and government affairs issues. Senator Coleman also chairs the American Action Network and Minnesota Action Network, an organization that intends to participate in shaping the future direction of Minnesota by engaging directly with the citizens of Minnesota and advances ideas that promote a system of commonsense policies that bring prosperity and economic growth to Minnesota.

The Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce introduces the 2013-2014 Legislative Breakfast Series. In preparation of the upcoming legislative session, the Chamber offers real-time information and resources on a number of issues important to your business. These breakfasts are designed for business community members to hear first-hand from lawmakers and industry experts on how legislation within all levels of government will affect their businesses' bottom line, job creation, growth and expansion. Members can also communicate their concerns, comments and questions.

Investment is $25 per event or purchase a Series pass for $200 and save. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with a breakfast buffet and the program begins promptly at 8:00 a.m.
