Government Affairs Committee January 2011

The January Government Affairs Committee features Tom Garrison, from the City of Eagan who will discuss a proposal before the Eagan City Council to develop a public/private partnership to create co-location facility for internet providers in Eagan.  This would provide a southern route for redundancy, data storage, and a variety of internet providers, creating a competitive marketplace.  The Chamber has long been a proponent of ultra high speed broadband, and believes that access to affordable broadband, and redundancy is a critical component of economic development.
