5th Annual Sustainability Conference Featuring Alumni Spotlight
This year, our conference focuses on global, national and local actions taken to support Minnesota’s Safe Harbor law aimed at mitigating human trafficking. The conference's open will highlight why Minnesotans, as business and community members, should increase their awareness of trafficking and its impact on our lives, economy and communities. This conference will include training sessions on how to recognize trafficking, ethical considerations for businesses, actions taken by law enforcement and the courts. Speakers include Sir Patrick Atkinson (iTEMP) ; John Choi (Ramsey County Attorney), FBI agents, Commander Robert Thomasser (St Paul Police Department), Gerald D Vick (Human Trafficking Unit, Chad Weinstein (Ethical Leaders in Action, and finally, Argosy alumna Shelia Brandt(Director, MN Department of Health and Human Service) and Karie Gibson Madsen(FBI special agent). US Representative Betty McCollum, who is expected to introduce legislation into the House in 2014 has been invited.<!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]-->
