The event will connect professionals like yourself while enriching your personal and professional lives.\n\n	\n\n	The 2013 WomEn's Conference was a huge success! With close to 200 women attending\, plus even a few men\, and over 35 exhibitors displaying their products and services! Click Here for more information on this year's marketplace opportunities. The speakers Energized\, Educated and Empowered the audience. The day concluded with a wine reception that featured non-profit partner\, RESOURCE\, Inc. It was the event of the year!\n\n	\n\n	\n\n	Non-Profit Partner\n\n	This year's Non-Profit Partner is the DCR Charitable Foundation. Funds raised will be used to give four - $500 scholarships to deserving female students attending high school in the Dakota County Region. To be eligible for this scholarship\, the student must currently attend a local high school in Districts 191\, 192\, 196\, and 197\; graduate in June 2014\; and committed to full-time attendance at a post-secondary institution. The application deadline is February 14\, 2014. Click here for more information on scholarship opportunities.\n\n	\n\n	A Wine Pull is being offered throughout the Conference with the proceeds benefiting the DCR Charitable Foundation. We are requesting your participation by asking your organization to make a wine donation valued at $10.00 and above. Click here for more information. We thank you for helping us raise funds for the DCR Charitable Foundation.\n\n	\n\n	\n\n	Speakers\n\n	Generations @ Work\n\n	Moderator: Sarah Sladek\n\n	Panelist: Teresa Daly\, Alaina Macia\, Maria Konat\n\n	In a diverse organization\, employees vary in age\, work experience and generation. As we know\, every generation brings its own culture and transformations to the workplace and has different aspirations\, values and ways of getting things done. We also know these differences can make it very challenging\, frustrating -- and sometimes humorous -- to work together. So how do we effectively build multi-generational teams?\n\n \n\n	Join us as panelists from different generations (Baby Boomer\, Generation X\, and Generation Y) compare their work experiences and definitions of work. Sarah Sladek\, CEO of XYZ University and generational author\, will moderate this engaging discussion\, provide key data\, and field questions from the audience. Together\, we'll explore generational differences in detail and discover how generations can work together and capitalize on their unique attributes. \n\n \n\n	The Art of Negotiating: Getting To Yes With Less Stress\n\n	Speaker: Shannon Murphy Robinson\n\n	Ever had a negotiation session where the pounding headache starts fifteen minutes in? Wish there was an easy way to get to the heart of the matter and stop the back and forth? \n\n \n\n	If you've ever wished you could ask the other party to stop all the posturing and just talk like two friends\, then this fast-paced interactive session is for you.\n\n \n\n	Using Outcome Thinking -- a brain-based methodology - you'll learn what stops a negotiation\, what happens in the brain\, why resistance occurs\, and tips for building a strong negotiation that brings each party's integrity\, ethics and creativity to the table. \n\n \n\n	Learn how to remove barriers and expand options within your negotiations\, remain high in integrity and ethics while encouraging your business counterparts to do the same and turn negotiations into building blocks\, not stumbling blocks. \n\n \n\n	Red Heels in the Green Room: How to Lead With Courage When It Matters Most\n\n	Speaker: Jan Jenkins \n\n	If you are facing an exciting new opportunity\, the challenge of leading a team of peers\, a difficult co-worker\, stubborn 13 year-old or crazy neighbor\, you probably wish for more courage.\n\n \n\n	Did you know that fear and courage have a direct impact on self-confidence? Here's a well-kept secret: women have an edge in determining how to go forward in tough situations and Jan will share it with you!\n\n \n\n	In fact\, Jan Jenkins will take you on a journey no one else can. Her riveting real-life story of extraordinary courage and resilience just might inspire you to make life-changing decisions.\n\n \n\n	You will learn how to step into courage so you can create a life with more joy\, self-confidence and resilience.
