\n Small Business Saturday is a shopping holiday created by American Express held annually on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It&rsquo\;s a counterpart to Black Friday and Cyber Monday\, during which consumers are encouraged to shop at local small businesses as opposed to big box retail and e-commerce stores. This year Small Business Saturday is November 24.
