DESCRIPTION:Caponi Art Park's fourth installment of the 2018 Summer Performance Series Batucada do Norte.\n\nBatucada do Norte is Tim and Pat O'Keefe's crazy caravan of grooves. With one foot firmly planted on the beautiful sandy beaches of Brazil\, they gaze longingly at distant shimmering oases of rhythm\, from the asphalt funk of America to the lopsided yet intoxicating beats of the East\, both Near and Far. No matter where they go\, some things are for sure: it'll be LOUD\, it'll ROCK\, and you won't want to stay in your seat!!\n\nIn addition to our main parking lot at 1220 Diffley Road\, performance parking is available at the Lexington-Diffley Athletic fields (unless noted). Banners and signs will be posted. Walking distance to amphitheater is a hilly 5-minute hike from either entrance. Golf carts are available to transport guests with mobility needs.\n\n\n\nIn case of rain\, the event will be held on August 19th.
