DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fresh cup of coffee and a great morning of networking at this joint chamber Coffee Break! Get to know nonprofit 360 Communities while visiting with your fellow Dakota County Regional and Burnsville Chamber members.  Discover new opportunities for the business community to come together and give back. \n\n	 \n\n	You can make a difference for a family in need. Bring food or cash donations with you to help stock the 360 Communities Burnsville Food Shelf. About four bags of food feeds a family of four for one week. A $10 donation will buy $30 worth of groceries thanks to 360 Communities' access to discount food programs.\n\n	 \n\n	Thank you to our host!\n\n	\n\n	\n\n	Mission\n\n	In the spirit of caring for our neighbors\, 360 Communities provides hope and support to people by engaging communities to prevent violence\, ensure school success and promote long-term self-sufficiency.\n\n	 \n\n	About 360 Communities\n\n	Founded more than 40 years ago by a group of volunteers\, 360 Communities provides hope and support to more than 14\,500 individuals each year with services in over 40 locations\, including a network of five food shelves\, two resource centers\, two domestic violence shelters\, and three programs that support school success from birth through high school graduation. More than 1\,100 volunteers donate their time\, energy and talent in support of 360 Communities every year.\n\n	 \n\n	360 Communities delivers a full circle of support to families through its strong network of programs and resources.  Staff and volunteers engage people to identify the root causes of their problems and provide resources to help them onto a path toward self-sustained success.\n\n	 \n\n	Food Shelves and Resource Centers\n\n	360 Communities' five food shelf locations in Apple Valley\, Burnsville\, Farmington\, Lakeville and Rosemount provide immediate aid to individuals and families and give them access to resources to help them reach self-sufficiency. Family resource centers in Burnsville and Rosemount serve as open\, welcoming places for community members to gather\, work with volunteers and staff\, and plan their individual paths to success. 360 Communities food shelves and resource centers work in partnership with our violence prevention and school success programs to ensure a full circle of stabilizing support.
