We will highlight the legal issues underlying crucial HR practices and provide solutions for strategically hiring the right candidate (and firing the wrong ones).  We will also focus on issues such as asking legally appropriate (and effective) interview questions\, hiring the perfect candidate (and what to do with the others)\, conducting background checks\, drug screening and medical tests\, dealing with disciplinary issues and minimizing risks in tough termination situations. \n\n\n\n\n\nNEW PROGRAM FOR 2012!\n\n\n\nDCR established this Roundtable to provide HR leaders what they need to know regarding HR trends\, changes and legal updates without having to track all of the electronic media sent via email\, twitter\, blogs\, etc.  These Roundtable discussions allow for a confidential environment to share opinions\, strategies\, questions\, tactics\, etc. about how your business is operating- from hiring new empolyees to choose the best benefit plan design for your workforce.  If you are looking for a simple solution to sort out these complex issues\, this Roundtable is for you!\n\n\n\nHRCI credits will be available for attending each roundtable.\n\n\n\nLed by two energetic industry professionals\, the Roundtable will meet six times in 2012 on the first Tuesday of each month from 7:30 a.m.   9:00 a.m. at the DCR offices.
