The DCR Government Affairs Committee serves the interests of the regional business community by facilitating member communication with state and local officials through regular conference calls and breakfast programs. The Committee is actively involved in addressing local business issues at a policy level and works to establish position statements on key local\, regional and state issues. Tom will discuss the state's budget and projected shortfalls in 2014-15.  Government redesign and tax reform focused on former Governor Pawlenty's 21st Century Tax Reform Commission report will also be discussed.
