DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 19th annual Business Day at the Capitol!\n\n	\n\n	This is the perfect venue for business leaders to speak one-on-one with legislators and advance initiatives that will strengthen the business environment to improve the lives of all Minnesotans.\n\n	\n\n	Top priorities this year are:\n\n	\n		Develop the best talent\n	\n		Costs must be competitive\n	\n		Innovate in government\n	\n		Fairer rules\, fewer delays\n\n\n	\n\n	For more detail on Opportunity Minnesota\, the Chamber's specific legislative initiatives\, click here.\n\n	\n\n	Schedule\n\n	7:30am - Registration/Coffee & Rolls\n\n	8:00am - Welcome and 2012 Session and Updates with Legislative Leaders\n\n	8:30am - Issue Briefings \n\n	\n		2012 Business Priorities Briefing: budget reform\, education\, energy\, environmental permitting\, health care and tax reform \n	\n		Insurance Briefing (One Continuing Education Credit for insurance applied for)\n	\n		NAIOP/MSCA/BOMA/CCIM Briefing \n\n\n	9:30am - Board buses to the Capitol\n\n	10:00am to 11:45am - Appointments with Legislators\n\n	11:45am - Return to Crowne Plaza\n\n	Noon - Luncheon\n\n	12:45pm - Luncheon Address\n\n	1:30pm - Adjourn\n\n	\n\n	Both sessions will begin with opening remarks addressing the legislative session followed by the opportunity to attend briefings by Minnesota Chamber staff on the business community's top priorities. Personal meetings with two or three legislators also are prearranged for interested participants and bus transportation is available.\n\n	\n\n	Both sessions join together at noon for a lunch program where Governor Mark Dayton has been invited to speak.
