DESCRIPTION:Women bring diverse and unique perspectives to cancer research\, making invaluable contributions and discoveries. However\, women are continuously underrepresented in research leadership. We need support to raise the funds needed to fuel HER next big discovery. ResearcHERS : Women Fighting Cancer is a movement that engages the community to raise funds to directly support cancer researchers   women cancer researchers. On September 23\, 2021\, at McNamara Alumni Center\, 200+ community leaders will join forces to support female researchers in our MN Community at our 2nd Annual ResearcHERS luncheon. We will honor a legacy leader and recognize a rising star in the field. We will showcase the advancements these science-minded leaders have made possible and share the stories of how research impacts the lives of our friends and family members every day.
