2022 Eagan State of the City
Join the Dakota County Chamber of Commerce and members for the Eagan State of the City.
Eagan Mayor Mike Maguire will give his annual State of the City address on Thursday, March 17 at the Omni Viking Lakes Hotel at 8:00 a.m.
Mayor Maguire will share how Eagan continues to be a successful city, and a strong community through the lens of our community’s health. Specifically, the Mayor will discuss how our people, businesses, and organizations that call Eagan home, and even our City as an organization influence our individual and community’s health.
Mayor Maguire will also share how Eagan’s culture of health impacts our natural environment, public safety, the local economy, and recreation, and how it will continue to shape Eagan’s future.
The event will also be live streamed - link and information will be available in the future at cityofeagan.com/stateofthecity.
COVID-19 PREPAREDNESS AND PRECAUTIONS
We are watching and following CDC guidelines and state guidelines as we tailor our COVID-19 Preparedness & Precautions guide to what is best for our guests and our venue partner. We request that Masks be worn unless eating or drinking.
In addition, we have implemented a “health attestation” policy for all attendees and staff. This means when a person attends one of our events, they are attesting, to the best of their knowledge, neither they nor any member of their household are experiencing any of the CDC-defined COVID-19 symptoms. The current symptoms to monitor: Fever above 100.4 degrees, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills or repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, and new loss of taste or smell.
As part of this protocol, our expectation is that all attendees and staff are taking their temperature prior to arriving onsite. Thank you for your flexibility and commitment to keeping yourself and others healthy.
