2019 April Public Affairs Breakfast
“Better Transit for Dakota County and Its Employers”
With the ongoing economic growth and development throughout Dakota County, the need for strong talent acquisition, workforce requirements and accessible workforce housing, Dakota County needs more and better transit.
In response, the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce and East Metro Strong will be embarking on a Dakota County Transit Opportunities Analysis to explore better transit connections and innovative ways to move our employees, customers and residents in and around Dakota County.
What could these look like? What can we learn from other places like Dakota County?
Please join us for this important conversation and hear from two experts who are assisting the DCR Chamber in this initiative.
- Christof Spieler, PE, LEED, AP Vice President and Director of Planning at Huitt-Zollars and member of the board of directors of Houston METRO.
- Will Schroeer, Executive Director, East Metro Strong, a public-private partnership of businesses, cities and counties working together to bring more and better transit investment to the East Metro.
