Your Chamber offers real-time information and resources on a number of issues important to your business through Legislative Breakfast Series. The breakfasts are designed for business community members to hear first-hand from lawmakers and industry experts on how legislation within all levels of government affect their businesses’ bottom line, job creation, growth and expansion. Members can also communicate their concerns, comments and questions.
Join us for October's Legislative Breakfast program "Today’s Students, Tomorrow’s Workforce" on Friday, October 3 from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. at Commons on Marice, 1380 Marice Drive in Eagan. Hear from area public school superintendents on various issues including district priorities, innovation, the role of technology in the classroom, district challenges and career readiness initiatives.
Speakers include Superintendent Joe Gothard, District 191 (Burnsville, Eagan, Savage); Superintendent Jay Haugen, District 192 (Farmington); Superintendent Jane Berenz, District 196; (Apple Valley, Eagan, Rosemount); and Superintendent Nancy Allen-Mastro, District 197 (West St. Paul, Mendota Heights, Eagan)
The Series offers members a total nine programs held on the first Friday of each month, October 2014 through June 2015 from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. at The Commons on Marice in Eagan. Fees are $25 per event or purchase a Series pass for $200 and save. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with a breakfast buffet and the program begins promptly at 8:00 a.m.
